2017 Grammy Nominee Gernot Wolfgang, to attend the performance of his Santa Barbara Suite in Mammoth Lakes May 19th!
Members of the Eastern Sierra Symphony under guest conductor Heiichiro Ohyama will perform SANTA BARBARA SUITE, along with Dvorak’s Serenade for Winds Op. 44 during a 7:30 pm concert at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mammoth Lakes. The piece, a commission by the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra in honor of Maestro Ohyama’s 30th anniversary as music director of this ensemble, was written in 2013 for the instrumentation of 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, contrabassoon, 3 horns, violoncello and double bass.
